Fanatic - Notes

(This isn't even close too complete, but it's a start.)

Why write this piece? A completely different world view can be very hard to see a bit at a time, so this piece was an attempt to outline all of the main bits, so that the whole could be seen. However, each of the bits has taken me a long time to put together, with lots of reading, so only a few people will understand all of this. So I've created these "Notes", which will describe a bit more and give links to web pages and books that I think describes, in more detail, what I was meaning.

Will this piece, or these notes, convince the skeptics, who want to hold tightly to the accepted slow changing authoritarian world view, where only small questions are allowed? Probably none. And I'm tried of even trying. Life is too short, I'm moving on, and I plan on only spending my energy with people who are open to looking beyond what they are told, even by me. But consider this: if you are the type who is quick to believe the establish scientific view, why are you not questioning the political part of the peer review process, that is preventing the discussion of truly different ideas?

Fanatic

So why the title, "Fanatic"? It just came to me as the right title. It describes the reaction others seem to have when they see how enthusiastic I get about the ideas in this piece. It is a warning that unaccepted and strong views are coming. But with that warning, maybe people will keep on reading, feeling their defenses will be enough. For most the defenses of the accepted world view will be enough. But for a few, a seed will be planted.

It was a cliche:

"And what were the aliens? Certainly they were sentient. And certainly they have a place in the divine scheme of the universe. But what?"

This came from the book "The Mote in God's Eye" by James Hogan, page ??, 19??, publisher. This was the spark for this piece. When I read this I felt anger, at the people who must have things all tidy and explained. Seemingly little unexplained things can unbalance them, causing a fear based fight or fight response. Why hold back? Many think there are only some small unexplained things. What if there are huge misconceptions?

There must be a plan?

Why?

So that we will know how to behave and fit in.

But what if there is no plan?

But there must be a plan.

Why are we here?

Exactly.

These are thought's from a bumper-sticker and site I created. See: Why are you here?

After I put this bumper sticker on my truck, I've noticed that, when the light changes, more people are are left behind me than before. Apparently contemplating the question, so not seeing the light change.

Knowing something wrong, that you are sure is right, is worse than not knowing anything. It locks a meme in place and the meme can not be dislodged until the "sure" things are put aside.

? get quote from Arp in "The Electric Sky"

Paradigm shifts can only be finished when there are cultural shifts. Basic assumptions have to be retested. Old forks in the road have to be looked at.

Resistance. We are going backwards. Superstitions will rule over logic!

This is madness. You can not question everything! All authorities will start to be questioned. Civilization will start to unravel. If there is no foundation for truth, or at least shared views, only constant arguments and disagreements are left.

Many can not live with shifting foundations.

Our way of life is being threatened, our survival is being threatened.

There are no safe places once the memes are unlocked.

Accept the new memes or fight.

So goes the authoritarian leader/follower perception.

Others have been intrigued or astonished by the different view points that I have come across. I'm bored with them. They are not at all astonishing to me; they never were.

Accept only the "proven" and your world view will be smaller than reality. Accept all until unproven and you might see all of reality. But you must always question and test; it's OK to believe on faith, but be very slow to act on faith.

The galaxies eject new matter, new galaxies, all tied together with electrical current threads in the plasma.

Black Jets (Jul 15, 2010)

An electromagnetic phenomenon on the fringes of galaxy NGC 7793 is confounding astronomers because they insist on seeing it as a gravitational superforce.

Explaining the jets of ionized particles often seen erupting from various objects in space ranks as one of the most difficult tasks facing modern astronomers. What force can create highly energetic particle emissions that span distances measured in light-years? What confines them into narrow beams?

Hundreds of stellar jets have now been observed, but the prevailing theory of "compacted gravitational point sources" exciting gas and dust as they orbit does not address the existence of collimated jets. There is only one force that can hold such a matter stream together over those distances: magnetism.

The only way to generate that magnetic confinement is through electricity flowing through space. In the past, astronomers observed coherent filaments from so-called "Herbig Haro" stars, some more than 12 light-years long. Charged particles within the filaments were thought to exceed velocities of 500 kilometers per second. The finely knotted jets exceeded three times the distance from our Sun to the nearest star, Alpha Proxima. According to ESO's recent announcement, however, the jets from the NGC 7793 microquasar are several hundred light-years long.

Most researchers try to account for narrowly confined jets by invoking words like “nozzle” or "high pressure," defying all that science knows about the behavior of gases in a vacuum. Some are even willing to acknowledge that magnetic fields might focus gases into narrow beams, although there is a commonly held opinion that magnetic fields are not important.

Magnetic fields are only one part of the story, and failure to realize that electric currents create magnetic fields has led many physicists to model plasma in space without considering the flow of electricity. Nobel laureate Hannes Alfven, a pioneer in the field of plasma cosmology, stated that plasma is "too complicated and awkward" for the tastes of mathematicians. It is "not at all suited for mathematically elegant theories" and requires laboratory experiments.

Alfven observed that the plasma universe had become "the playground of theoreticians who have never seen a plasma in a laboratory. Many of them still believe in formulae which we know from laboratory experiments to be wrong". He thought that the underlying assumptions of cosmologists "are developed with the most sophisticated mathematical methods and it is only the plasma itself which does not ‘understand’ how beautiful the theories are and absolutely refuses to obey them".

Stars are nodes in electrical circuits. Electromagnetic energy could be stored in the equatorial current sheets surrounding them until some trigger event causes them to switch into a polar discharge. The electric jet could receive its energy from a natural particle-accelerator, a "plasma double layer" with a strong electric field. Toroidal magnetic fields would form because of the polar plasma discharge, confining it into a narrow channel.

Axial electric currents should be flowing along the jet's entire length. Only electric fields can accelerate charged particles across interstellar space.

The stars are arcs of shorted currents in the galaxies.

Life starts in stars, on planets orbiting in stars, bathed with continuous light, water condensing and raining down. Months are like years. Sedimentation builds up rapidly. Matter ages, mass changes, gravity increases, dinosaurs die.

The origin of planets and life mainly came from: "HOW TO SEARCH FOR ALIENS" by Wal Thornhill.

When gravitation turns into a death trap

Life is easy, safe, and diverse, in the stars. But they are alone. Other stars can not be seen or known.

It is likely that our earth is far younger than assumed. Some planets are birthed from stars and gas giants. What of life now?

Perhaps on the order of a 100,000 years old (source?). If orbiting in a star, the period could be as little as a month, so sedimentation layers may be deposited much faster than a layer/year.

Hurled out into the cold. Massive changes, extinctions, life adapts. The psychological trauma on the human species is huge. Common myths align in time. The ancients point to Saturn as our home. Are they fools!

thunder bolts... Why did the early civilizations pay such close attention to the stars? They really are not that important for day-to-day living. Of course there is some usefulness for yearly cycles, but that is about all.

Thousands of years are wasted, trying to restore the past harmony. We are impressed by the pyramids, but they are nothing, compared to what humans knew before they were thrown out of Eden.

thor phora.. Planet birth:

The universe is hostile and empty. Where is everyone? Well, they are happy, and isolated behind their glowing arcs.

And it is all connected with the electric threads.

Now that is astonishing! It can not possibly be true! It is a heresy against all of science! Yet this astonishing shift is logically consistent and derived from one simple change: electrical forces are 1039 times stronger than gravity, and the effects are present at all levels, from the atomic to the cosmic. That's a force more than a billion, billion, billion, billion, times stronger than gravity!

electric sky, holoscience

The Electric Universe Theory can be tested with observations, the foundation of the scientific method, but few will even look again at already known facts. Scientists are right about Astrology, the gravity of the sun and planets have little influence on us.

Time, connection to past (knowledge/people), connection to the current (knowledge/people), and minimal resources, are enough to advance new ideas. The authoritarian response is to reduce this threat: use up time with unimportant things, use up time with the need to work, fragment connections, divide the knowledge base, make tests and experiments expensive, do not ever allow "known truths" to be questioned.

So what? Why does this matter? Who cares about cosmology; it has no impact on my life. Well it could, because the Electric Universe and Plasma based theories are not the current slow steady change that the Big Bang theory presents. The current flow to the sun could change at any time. For example global warming could actually be caused by the sun getting warmer. But it is unlikely that we would actually experience the dramatic changes that appear to have happened thousands of years ago.

The real problem with currently accepted cosmological theory, is not so much the content, which is not in line with what is observed, but with the authoritarian view that says any other challenging theories are wrong, that different theories will not be given any funds or access to expensive scientific instruments (telescopes, space probes, etc.). The current peer review process is stifling the scientific method just as effectively as the Roman Catholic church stifled Galileo, and others. What is most interesting is to see how non-scientists get angry when an alternative way of looking at the Universe is presented. The anger has the same fervor as a religious disagreement. It is most interesting--why are most people so threatened by something that really is unlikely to affect their daily life? Authority figures (scientists) should not be questioned, long held theories should not be lightly tossed aside, change should be gradual and controlled, ... But that still isn't quite it. Is it really so hard to think critically, and to even allow some questioning of basic assumptions?
